Submission Process Guidelines

Permission
Score submissions must be original material or arrangements of material in the public domain. If copyrighted text and/or music is being used, include written permission to use it.

Format
All submissions should include a complete, clearly notated manuscript in PDF or Finale (.mus or .musx or xml) format. Recordings may accompany submissions but will not be evaluated without a manuscript. Include an mp3 (audio) or mp4(video) or any other recording format of the work.

Submission
Please send your submission including the following information to:
submit@lavozmusicpublishing.com
- Your full name
- Your address
- The title of your submission
- History, background, cultural context of the piece.

Review
If we are interested in publishing your work, you will receive correspondence within 60 days. At the end of this 60-day period, you are free to send your submission to another publisher with our thanks for the opportunity to review your work.

Materials
If your submission is chosen for publication, we require the following materials within 30 days of acceptance:
- Your short bio and a black and white photo for publication.
- Text with English translation.
- Text in IPA and/or transliteration.
- Pronunciation tracks recorded by a native speaker.
- A written permission of copyrighted text and/or music if is being used.
- Program notes for performance.
- A signed copy of the La Voz Music Publishing, LLC contractual agreement.
