Ángel M. Vázquez-Ramos, a native of Carolina, Puerto Rico is Associate Professor of Music and Director of Choral & Vocal Studies at California State University, Bakersfield. He teaches undergraduate courses in music education, secondary choral methods, and choral conducting. In addition, Dr. Vázquez-Ramos conducts the University Singers, Treble Singers, and Chamber Singers while maintaining an active schedule as guest conductor, adjudicator, and clinician throughout the state and western region.

Carlos E. Rivera-Aponte, originally from Aibonito, Puerto Rico is Professor of Music and Choral Director at the University of Puerto Rico, Carolina where he conducts the University Chorale and the Chamber Chorus. In addition to his choral activities, professor Rivera is a leading handbell expert in Puerto Rico and Latin America.

José Rivera, a native from New York of Puerto Rican descent, is Professor of Music and coordinator of Music Education at the University of North Carolina-Pembroke.  Dr. Rivera has served in different capacities for the American Choral Directors Association and the National Association for Music Education. His research interests include world music and cultures, rehearsal techniques, and teacher preparation. Dr. Rivera is an active adjudicator, clinician, and guest conductor throughout the United States and Latin America.
